Christian B. Robles

Christian B. Robles, 37, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 13, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in Orlando, Florida, he was the beloved son of Helen (Aviles) Burkshire of Kissimmee, Florida, and Bienvenido Robles of Orlando, Florida.

Christian was a graduate of Freedom High School and dedicated many years of his life to his craft as a Sous Chef at Candela Cucina. Cooking was not simply his profession—it was his passion. He loved being in the kitchen, where he could explore, create, and share his gift with others. He took great pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His family at Candela’s held a special place in his heart, and his loved ones are deeply grateful for the care, love, and support they showed him.

Outside of the kitchen, Christian found joy in the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing with his twin brother, Daniel, camping, and riding his bike. He had a love for antiquing, playing video games with his brother, and listening to music. Above all, he cherished spending time with his friends and family including his beloved cat, Lena, who brought him constant companionship and comfort.

Christian was shy and quiet by nature, yet among those he trusted, his playful and humorous spirit shone brightly. He was an observer of the world around him, remaining humble and kind in all that he did. His gentle smile and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who loved and respected him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving twin brother, Daniel Robles and his wife Jennifer of Carver; his sister, Leslie Robles and her husband Philippe of Canada; his cherished niece, Alexia Robles of Carver; his girlfriend, Jamie Via of New Bedford; and his step-mother, Beatriz Robles of Florida.
