Christie Ann DosSantos

Christie Ann was the daughter of the late Victor Machado and the late Alda Correia. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School.

With steady dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, Christie Ann served as a Supervisor at the JC Penney Department store, where she was known for her dependable leadership and commitment to her work.

Christie Ann was married to Antonio DosSantos for 25 years. She was a loving mother to two children, Paulo DosSantos and Cayde DosSantos. She is also survived by her brother, Arthur Correia, and by her aunt and godmother, Maria Tremblay. She cherished her dog, Brownie, who she considered her son.

Christie Ann found joy in traveling and vacationing, and she also took simple pleasure in getting her nails done—small moments of care that reflected her appreciation for life’s everyday comforts.

She will be remembered with respect and enduring affection by all who knew and loved her.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Rivet St., New Bedford followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
