Christopher John Fernandes

Christopher John Fernandes, born on August 8, 1990, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 34, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A resident of Fall River, Massachusetts, Christopher was known for being hard-working and humorous, traits that endeared him to many.

Christopher worked as a machine operator at Blount Fine Foods in Fall River, where his dedication and commitment were well recognized. His charismatic and charming nature made him a joy to be around, and he had a remarkable ability to make people laugh.

He is survived by his mother, Suzanne (Morris) Fernandes, his father, John Joseph Fernandes, his children, Jayden Christopher Fernandes, Sophia Rose Almeida, and Arius Zayne Rebelo Moacha. He is also survived by his sister, Kathleen Crystal Fernandes, his brother, Angel Jared Fernandes, and his maternal grandmother, Ellen (Ryan) Morris. Christopher was preceded in death by his son, Dayvien Jordan Fernandes, his maternal grandfather, Manuel Morris, and his fraternal grandparents, John Joseph Fernandes Sr. and Rita Pearl Fernandes. He leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
