

Cizaltina was the beloved daughter of the late, Jose and Diamentina Correia Pimental. In 1971, she emigrated to the United States, where she settled in New Bedford.
Cizaltina worked at Cliftex Manufacturing for many years until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noe F. Andrade, and her son, Hildeberto Andrade. Cizaltina is survived by her daughter, Diane Sousa, and her husband, Carlos, and her son, Cesar Andrade. She leaves behind four grandchildren: Eric Andrade, Kelly Andrade, Jillian Sousa, and Nina Sousa, as well as one great-grandchild, Hailey Furtado. Cizaltina is also survived by her sister, Dialda Melo, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Manuel, Jeremias, Maria, Odilia, Jaime, Cesar, Jose, Angelina and Ines.
Cizaltina was known for her love of spending time with her family and her dedication to caring for them. She was a wonderful cook and cherished the time she spent with her loved ones.
Cizaltina C. Andrade will be remembered fondly by all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Her Funeral will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 9:00 am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 136 Earle St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
