Claudette R. Labbe, age 77, passed away May 28, 2018 at Sippican Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Emile Labbe and Alice (Carrier) Labbe and the sister of the late Lorraine Nault.

She is survived by her daughter Theresa and her husband Ed Volpe and their three children; Jake, Taylor and Riley,

Claudette was a very loyal, caring, and humble friend to many, all of whom loved her dearly and will miss her sorely. She was always there and willing to help, when needed, especially to babysit.

Claudette liked to embroider and knit and also was adept at sketching and drawing, but her happiest moments were those spent with her family and friends.

The family thanks the staff at Sippican Health Care Center for the excellent and tender care with which Claudette was provided.

Her visitation will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 4-7pm at the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA. Her funeral will be held Monday from the funeral home at 9am and her Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Anthony of Padua, 1359 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald J Labbe and his wife Mary and their three sons; Dr. Stephen Labbe and his wife Stacey and their children; Jared and Elizabeth also James Labbe and his wife Grace and their children, Austin and Nicole and Robert Labbe and his children; Justine, Timothy and Colton; a niece Doreen Patys and her two children; Allison and Katherine along with numerous cousins. A special friend is Bobbie Everett, who was kind and helpful to Claudette.
