Cora C. Ledoux

Born in Pawtucket, Mrs. Ledoux lived in Acushnet since 1946. She was the daughter of the late J. Aram and Matilda (Michaud) Chevalier.

Cora worked at the Berkshire Hathaway Mills in New Bedford and as a ward clerk at the former Parkwood Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Anne’s Sodality of St Francis Xavier Parish, the Ladies Guild, Jolly Seniors and the Royal Travelers.

Surviving are her 3 sons; Joseph H. Ledoux and his wife Pauline of Acushnet, Maurice G. Ledoux and his wife Kathleen of Cape Canaveral, FL, Gilbert A. Ledoux and his wife Jane of Mineola, FL, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Norman and Henry Chevalier, Jeanne Belanger and Aurora Boutin.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 8am from the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA followed by a funeral mass at 9am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 125 Main Street, Acushnet, MA.
