Darren W. Taylor

He was the son of the late Richard and Natalie (Lima) Taylor. Darren was a graduate of Old Colony Regional High School. Throughout his career, he was employed as a plasterer, a profession where he demonstrated dedication and skill.

Darren was the cherished father of Jamie Taylor and his companion Heather, Jarret Taylor and his companion Haylie, and Amanda Siddiq and her husband Shabaka. He was a devoted grandfather to five grandchildren: Blake, Kinsley, Aubrie, Brielle, and Eliana. Darren was also the brother of the late Steven Taylor.

He had a deep love for his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with his friends. Known for his sociable nature and constant humor, Darren was a constant joker. He took pleasure in exercising and working in his yard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00PM in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745.
