David C. Medeiros

David C. Medeiros, age 63, of Lakeville died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at New Bedford Healthcare Center after a long battle with cancer. He was the husband of Jacqueline M. (Costa) Medeiros with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

David was born in New Bedford to Patricia (Kacprzyk) Medeiros of Fairhaven and the late Charles V. Medeiros. He spent his early years in New Bedford, graduating from New Bedford High School in 1968 and the former SMU in 1972. David lived most of his life in Freetown and Lakeville where he raised and showed Rottweiler dogs with his wife. He was employed as a Sales Representative for the F.D.C. Packaging, Inc. of Medfield, MA until his illness.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are several aunts and uncles and many cousins, including Steven A. Stefanik of New Bedford.

His Funeral will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:30 from the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
