Debra Lee (Mello) St. Pierre, age 58, of Acushnet died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Roland R. St. Pierre with whom she celebrated 26 years of marriage.
Debra was born in Acushnet, a daughter of the late Dennis P. and Irene (Fortin) Mello. She lived in New Bedford for most of her life, moving back to Acushnet nearly 4 years ago.
She enjoyed playing bingo, lottery tickets and gambling.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a son: Jamie Fournier of Acushnet, two daughters: Cheryl Fournier of New Bedford and Laurie Fournier of Dartmouth; a brother: Dennis Mello of Freetown; two sisters: Jane Mello and Penny Mello of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren: Devin D. and Leah Fournier, and Destiny M. and Jarrell F. Depina. She was also the sister of the late Johnny Mello.
