Diane L. Westgate

Born a daughter of the late Edward and Jean “Jennie” (Kolz) Ashley, she split her time between Milan, NH and E. Freetown.

Mrs. Westgate loved to read and spend time with her kids and grandkids.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tammy Lipka and her husband Brian of New Bedford; three sons, Todd Place and his wife Christine of Acushnet, David Westgate and his wife Jeannette of E. Freetown, and Jacob Westgate of E. Freetown; a brother, Steve Ashley; six grandchildren, Amanda Harbin, Connor Lipka, Haley and Hayden Westgate and Caitlyn and Christopher Foster; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Brian Ashley.

Her visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2015 4-7 p.m. in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford and Saturday 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. in White Cemetery, Freetown. For online tribute and directions www.rock-funeralhome.com
