Born in New Bedford, she was one of fourteen children born to the late Joseph and Mary Angel (Rebello) Vieira and she was lifelong resident of the city. Dolores was employed with US Ring Binder in New Bedford for several years before her retirement and in her youth, she enjoyed dancing and skating. She was an avid Patriots fan.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by brothers, Charles, Ernest, Donald and Richard Viera; two sisters, Priscilla Cabeca, Lillian Medeiros and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in New Bedford. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9 am to 10 am prior to her service in the funeral home.
