Donald Arthur Lemonde

Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Adolphe and Marie (Comeau) Lemonde. In his later life he resided in Florida with his wife. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Mr. Lemonde served in the United States Air Force. He was a skilled and talented general contractor. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on various home renovations for his loved ones. He was gifted at carpentry and could tackle any project you put before him. Donald enjoyed going on vacations and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Debbie Swieder of Fall River, Diane Crownover of OR, Randy Lemonde of ID, Donna Allen of New Bedford, Kevin Lemonde of New Bedford, Donna Braga of New Bedford, Doreen Pauley of FL, and Cyndi Pelletier of Acushnet; a sister, Lorraine Duval of Freetown; 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late David Baptiste and brother of the late Annette Levalley.

A Memorial Service will be held this Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at The First Church of the Nazarene, 764 Hathaway Road in New Bedford. For online tribute/directions please see www.rock-funeralhome.com.
