Doris Girouard

Marie “Doris” Clara (Robert) Girouard Born September 1, 1924 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Her parents Samuel Robert and Rose (Lavallee) Robert. She married Herve William Girouard on March 8, 1947. He died on November 12, 1998. She is survived by three sons, Robert (Barbara) of Illinois, William (Eileen) of South Dartmouth, and Donald (Joyce) of New Bedford. Grandchildren: Heather, Paul (Anne), Marc (Kerri), Meaghan, Liam (Sasha), Katie (Cory Vieira) and Matthew (Fiancé, Alysa Lopes). Great Grandchildren, Lauren and Braden Smith, Ella and Tilly Girouard and Cameron Vieira. One sister, Rita Grimley. She was predeceased by her Great Grandson, Jackson Girouard; Sisters, Laura Bonneau, and Simonne Lafferty; Brothers, Philip Robert, Laurent Robert, Leo Robert, and Edward Robert; Sisters-in-law, Therese Pelletier, Yvette Bralewski, Doris Lavoie, Irene Bielski, and Flora Fernandes; and Brothers-in-law, Oscar Girouard, Normand Girouard, and Ernest Girouard.
