Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Grace (Riendeau) Marlow, she resided all of her adult life in Acushnet.
A graduate of New Bedford High School Class of 1949, Dot worked as a waitress and also as a file clerk at various businesses in the local area. She was also the Polling Warden for the Town of Acushnet for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, cooking, baking, and playing assorted card games. Dot had a key role in the weekly cribbage games at the Acushnet Council on Aging, as well as initiating card games at Presidential Terrace while residing there.
She is survived by three daughters, Judith M. Moereels of Lakeville, Robbin L. Eusebio and her husband Scott of Acushnet and Dorothy A. Jackson of New Bedford; three sons, Thomas R. Lackie of Acushnet, Douglas L. Lackie of East Freetown and Russell K. Lackie of New Bedford; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Lorraine Young, Roger, Arnold and Daniel Lackie and sister of the late Lillian Richard and Doris Smith.
Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 9:00AM at the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by burial at Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be Monday from 4:00PM to 7:30PM. For online tributes and directions: www.rock-funeralhome.com
