Born in Lyndonville, Vermont, a son of the late Eugene and Azuba (Lague) Cadarette he was a box maker for the former Shepard Clothing Co. for 20 years until his retirement. He formerly worked as a farmer for many years.
He was a member of the Whaling City Stamp Club, the North End Community Center, the Hillside Court Seniors and was a bingo caller at 3 locations.
He is survived by 2 sons, George E. Cadarette of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dennis R. Cadarette of Toronto, a daughter, Pauline F. Cadarette of New Bedford and his cousin and caretaker, Claire Mailloux and her husband Paul of New Bedford.
His Funeral Mass will be held today at 9:00 AM in the Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 121 Mt. Pleasant Street, New Bedford. Burial private. Arrangements are in the care of the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford
