Edna Baptista

She was born in New Bedford the daughter of the late Frederick and Eva Manchester and has been a lifelong resident of the city. Mrs. Baptista enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing.

She is survived by her four sons Jonathan W. Baptista of New Bedford, Robin D. Baptista of New Bedford, Timothy Baptista and his wife Susan of Rochester and Vaughn Seniow and his wife Wilma of Moore Haven, FL; a daughter Barbara A. Pina of New Bedford; a sister Miriam Brodeur of New Bedford; five grandchildren Robert, Cindy, Kyrstal and Timothy Baptista and Arnold Pina; three great grandchildren and several niece and nephews.

Mrs. Baptista was also the mother of the late David Baptista and Mark Seniow.

Her Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 10AM in the Rock Funeral Home 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 to 10AM prior to her service. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
