Edward John Santos

Edward J. Santos, a devoted, hard-working, and beloved man, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on April 20, 1942, Edward was a resident of Fall River and Acushnet. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was the husband of the late Suzanne J. (Clerc) Santos.

Born in Fall River, a son of the late Antonio F. and Onorina (Medeiros) Santos, he was a long time resident of Acushnet and later Fall River. Edward was a Auto Reconditioner for more than 40 years, being employed at the former Miller Pontiac, Gesner Subaru and Mazda of Fairhaven.

Ed loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted husband to his late wife Suzanne. He enjoyed walking, walks for children's cancer research, as well as long drives with his late wife. He enjoyed Country music, breakfast with his friends and his grandpup Roxy. He especially enjoyed Sunday cookouts and swimming in the pool with the family.

He is survived by his children, Donna Hubert and her husband Billy, of Fall River, Edward J. Santos, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Tiverton, Laurie Santos and her husband John Warner of Fall River, Kevin J. Santos and his wife Elizabeth of Fall River and Chad E. Santos and his wife Missy of Fall River; his step children, Donna DiBenedetto and Lori Nickerson; sisters, Madeline Picard and Carol Leite; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the stepfather of the late Sherrie Pavlik.
