Ella Louise Chadwick

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late, Gordon F. and Agnes F. (Warr) Hathaway, she was a lifelong resident of the city and a graduate of New Bedford High School. Mrs. Chadwick was employed as a Sales Clerk at the former W.T. Grants in New Bedford. She enjoyed knitting and quilting.

She is survived by 3 children, David W Chadwick and his wife Linda of Fairhaven, Michael J. Chadwick and his wife Colleen of New Braintree, MA and Linda E. Konopacki and her husband Frank of Taunton; a daughter in-law Sandy Chadwick of Boxton, ME; 8 grandchildren Benjamin, Ryan, Michael, Elizabeth, James and Andrew Chadwick, and Jason and John Konopacki; 2 nieces Ellen Hathaway and Agnes Souza and 12 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Chadwick was the mother of the late Robert A. Chadwick, grandmother of the late Megan Chadwick, sister of the late Gordon F. Hathaway and aunt of the late Cathy Semiao.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10 in the Acushnet Wesley United Methodist Church, 67 Main St., Acushnet. Burial will follow and take place in the Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 to 7pm in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
