Eric H. Dahlberg

Born in New Bedford, a son of Sandra C. (Chace) Dahlberg of Acushnet and the late George H. Dahlberg, he had resided in Acushnet for several years before moving to New Bedford 19 years ago.

He was a graduate of Fairhaven High School.

Having a strong work ethic, Eric had worked as an injection molding operator at Titleist for the past 40 years.

Eric was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is a step-daughter, Sandy DeMelo of New Bedford; a grandchild, Chase DeMelo; a brother, Craig Dahlberg and his wife Jennifer of Acushnet; a niece Alyson Dahlberg; and a nephew Samuel Dahlberg. He was the brother of the late Kari Dahlberg.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 4:00-7:00pm in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 10:00am in Acushnet Wesley United Methodist Church, 67 Main St., Acushnet.

Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric’s memory may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168 or dana-farber.org.
