My family, the Heberts, moved directly across the street from Mr & Mrs Laplante & their family on Deane St New Bedford when I was 13 years old. I remember them as being very friendly and welcoming, which made for an easy adjustment to our new neighborhood. I have remained friendly with David & Marc through the years as we all moved to Acushnet with our families and are parishioners at St Francis Xavier Church. I remember a few years ago seeing Mr & Mrs Laplante at Mass at SFX . Seeing them again brought back cherished childhood memories. My family and I offer sincere condolences at this time of loss to Mrs Laplante and her family. RIP, Mr Laplante, you deserve it! You did a great job! Thank you for the memories and thank you for your Military Service!🇺🇸❤🙏 God Bless
