Frances E. Gallant

Born in East Irvington, she was the daughter of the late James and Victoria “Jenny” (Anderson) Vincent.

Mrs. Gallant was a Customer Service Representative at Acushnet Rubber Co. for many years before retiring. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Heritage Country Club in Lakeville. She also enjoyed being with her loving cats.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Hoglund of New Bedford and Susan Spach and her fiancé Michael Bachtel also of New Bedford; three grandchildren, John and Jessica Hoglund and Sarah Spach; two great grandchildren, Lacey Gidley and Christopher Hoglund and several nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Paul E. Hoglund and sister of the late Walter, William, Neil and George Vincent.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside burial, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11 AM in Pine Grove Cemetery.
