Frank Condez III

Frank Condez, III, 48 of Dartmouth, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston. Born in Melrose, MA, son of Beverly A. (DeSimone) Condez of Dartmouth and the late Frank Condez, Jr., he had resided in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth 33 years ago. He was a graduate of New Bedford High School and studied Engineering at U-Mass Dartmouth. He received a degree in Applied Criminal Justice Technology from U-Mass Amherst in 2018. Frank was a police officer who served on the Dartmouth Police Department for 20 years attaining the rank of sergeant and was the President of the Dartmouth Police Brotherhood Union for several years. He enjoyed restoring cars and had the unique ability and knowledge to repair just about anything. Frank was a very caring person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Frank was honored to have cared for his father whom he considered his best friend and brother. Frank is survived by his loving mother, Beverly and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many wonderful friends. His Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 9 am from the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 am in St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish (formerly St. Mary’s Church), 343 Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford.
