My sincere condolences to Helen's family. Fresh out of college, I was hired by the New Bedford Welfare Office where Helen was already a family Supervisor. I remember her as a knowledgeable, caring, and highly respected by her colleagues and those she supervised. She was a mentor to me and to many, and whatever success I had in social services in my career, I can attribute to her excellent training skills and example of deportment in the face of some difficult people, times and circumstances. Resquiescat in Pace, Helen

Heaven definitely gained another angel. I was so blessed to meet this beautiful angel. We had many conversations and laughs together. She loved her family dearly.
I will truly miss this wonderful and special woman. She will forever be in my heart.
