Ina M. Bonneau

Ina was born in Salem, MA and was a daughter of the late Everett and Eva (Fontaine) Babin.

Ina worked as a stitcher for the Lissak Shoe Company until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, reading, laughing, and making others laugh. She would often say, “What is the sense of living if you can’t have fun.”

Survivors include a son George Bonneau and his wife Elaine of Lynn, MA; 2 daughters, Brenda Macedo and her husband Richard of No. Dartmouth; Linda Chartrand and her husband Vernon of Nashua, NH; a sister Ann Letalien of Candia, NH and a brother Rosario Babin of Saulnierville, Nova Scotia; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Her funeral will be celebrated Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 783 Dartmouth Street, So. Dartmouth. Visiting hours 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. prior in the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial in Rural Cemetery.
