

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mariana Hendricks.
Isabel was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Wilfred Academy. She owned and operated Isabel’s Beauty Salon in New Bedford. In 1943 she married Manuel Andrade and was widowed in 1956.
She leaves her daughters Mary-Louise Tavares and husband Fred of E. Freetown, Catherine Watson and husband Lee of Southboro and Margaret Lyonnais and husband Ronald of E. Freetown; eight grandchildren, Anne Tavares-Buker and husband Douglas, Carolyn Rogers and loving companion Michael Bouvier, Jennifer Dumas and husband Robert, Sherrie McNamara and husband Thomas, James Lyonnais and wife Andrea, Nicole Schaub and husband Cary, Jonathan Watson and wife Andrea and Susan Barboza and husband Adam; 19 great-grandchildren, Hayleigh, Isabelle, Nevaeh, Elisabeth, Abigail, Riley, Avery, Joseph, Hannah, Jillian, Brady, William, Ty, Charlotte, Dryden, Noah, Delsie, Jayden and Tatum.
She is survived by a sister Evelyn Hendricks of Dartmouth, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Isabel was predeceased by eight siblings, Mary Hendricks, Hazel Thomas, Alice Fraga, Manuel Hendricks, Frances King, William Hendricks, Elsie Espinola and Eleanor Morris.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Oaks for their loving care.
Her funeral mass will be Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10 AM in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., East Freetown. Burial will be private. The family will be receiving guests from 9-9:50 AM in church prior to the mass.
