Jacqueline A. “Jackie” Boucher, age 58 of Fairhaven, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Adrienne (Talbot) Boucher.
Born in New Bedford, Jackie was a lifelong resident of the southcoast. She attended Nazareth Hall and was employed as a bagger for 10 plus years at Trucchi's. She was also a volunteer for the Acushnet Council on Aging for more than 25 years.
Jackie loved her family dearly. She enjoyed working on puzzles, Bowling and loved to dance. Jackie loved to hand out hugs to anyone that would like one. She also loved her Dunkin coffee and singing New York-New York. Jackie is the one person on this planet who could love everyone unconditionally and without bias. She will have the angels in heaven singing New York New York and dancing with her….
She is survived by her siblings, Diane Sleight and her husband Raymond of New Bedford, Robert Boucher and his wife Jeanette of New Bedford, Paulette Hudson and her husband Boyd of Acushnet, Raymond Boucher and his wife Jacqueline of FL, Paul Boucher and his wife Patricia of New Bedford, Denise Dextradeur and her husband Robert of East Freetown and Michael Boucher of New Bedford; her best friend, Shelly Tichon of Fairhaven and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Donald Budd, Vivian Tripp and Marc Boucher.
The family would like to thank The Nemasket Group of Mattapoisett and their caring staff. A special thank you to the nurses on the ICU unit for the wonderful care that Jackie received while a patient at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Jackie’s Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 10:00AM in St. Francis of Xavier Church, 125 Main Street, Acushnet, MA 02743. Relatives and friends are invited.
