

Jacqueline was the beloved daughter of the late Roland and Irene (Martin) Drolet. She spent most of her life in New Bedford, where she was known for her dedication and compassion as a Rehabilitation and Nurse's Aide at Sacred Heart Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband, John R. Medeiros, Jr., who passed in 2008. Jacqueline is survived by her two sons, Michael Medeiros and his wife Laura of Plymouth, and Gary Medeiros and his wife Michelle of Rockledge, Florida. She was a proud grandmother to Holliann Von Tripi and her husband Christian, and Shannon McDonald and her husband Matthew. Jacqueline also cherished her two great-grandchildren, Braydan McDonald and Madeleine Von Tripi.
Jacqueline was a woman of strong faith and a former member of the Ladies Guild and Couples Club of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Her talents and interests included knitting, ceramics, reading, and bowling. She was honored to receive the Marian Medal in recognition of her service and dedication.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 11:00am in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
