Born in New Bedford, a son of James A. and Tina M. (Breton) Leahy of New Bedford, he was a lifelong area resident.
Jack attended New Bedford High School and worked as a cook at Café Roma for eight years. Jack was an avid New England sports fan and loved watching the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins.
He loved a good joke and playing pranks. His smile and dimples would brighten the darkest of moments. He was a most devoted son, brother, and friend who would never hesitate to lend a helping hand. Jack was a generous, compassionate, giving, humble soul who loved doing for others and would often go out of his way to bring happiness to another. Jaxson was a devout Christian and a member and volunteer at Christ Community Church, Taunton. He loved his church family, especially baking for them and working with the youth group.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by eight siblings: Alexander, Maxwell, Olyvia, Leah, Harrison and Leopold Leahy, Brian Breton, and Amanda Cronin; his maternal grandparents, Ida and Andre Breton of Florida; two nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins; best friends, Zack, Bryce, Tyler, Brandon, Jesse, and Jonathan; pets, Kermit and Sadie; and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jeanne and Richard Walsh and Richard Leahy.
