

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Charles O. and Aurore (Gregoire) Gaudette, she was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She attended New Bedford Vocational High School and was employed at the former Parkwood Hospital as a supervisor in central supply for seventeen years, retiring in 1984.She enjoyed being with her family, “loves to go out and eat”, she enjoyed playing cards and going for rides. She most appreciated that her loving granddaughter Monique cared for her over the last four years.
She is survived by two sons, Denis R. Labelle of E. Freetown and Ronald H. Labelle and his wife Donna of S. Dartmouth; a daughter, Pauline C. Vigeant and her husband Donald of Rochester; one brother, Donald R. Gaudette of New Bedford and one sister, Claire Michaud of New Bedford. Six grandchildren, Monique Vigeant, Scott Vigeant and his wife Katherine, Keith Labelle and his wife Karen, Jennifer Labelle, Katelyn Houbre and her husband Matthew and Kip Labelle and his partner Jamie Hoxie; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles O. Gaudette, Jr., Normand L. Gaudette and Muriel LeBlanc.

Jeanne’s Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church 4256 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
