Jeannette Caron

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Edward Arsenault and Aimee (Scott) Arsenault, she lived most of her life in the south coast region.

Jeannette worked as a stitcher for Stay Lastic Scovill Co. until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph Church of New Bedford. She had a passion for playing the organ; most recently she entertained her friends at the Friendly Harbor Day Care with her musical talents. Jeannette was an avid collector of stuffed animals and was a true animal advocate.

Survivors include her son Edward A. Caron of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren Tara Caesar of NC; Christopher Caron of Malden; Jarred Rood of Kingston; a great grandson, Michael Bunnaskavich, Jr. of Acushnet and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:30 am at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:30am at St. Joseph-St. Therese Church, Acushnet Ave, New Bedford. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be Tuesday from 4-7pm.
