Jeannine M. Ferro

Jeannine M. “Nini” (LaFrance) Ferro, 64, of Lakeville, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of David J. Ferro with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.

Born in Boston, daughter of the late Edgar and Jeannette (Chandler) LaFrance, she had resided in Acushnet for several years before moving and settling in Lakeville in 2014.

Jeannine was a graduate of New Bedford High School and received her certificate from Kinyon Campbell Business School.

She had worked as an audit manager in the accounts payable department at the Titleist Headquarters in Fairhaven for over 20 years, retiring in 2020.

Jeannine was an avid New England Patriots fan, enjoyed keeping up with Stephen King’s latest novels, listening to music and spending time at the beach. She loved the time shared with her family whom she adored. Sunday family dinners together were very special and will be cherished forever.

Surviving in addition to her husband David, are her daughters, Jocelyn O’Driscoll of New Bedford and Bethany Ferro and her wife Brittany of New Bedford; her brother, Ronald LaFrance and his wife Michelle of Assonet; three grandchildren, Tyler and Jake O’Driscoll and Claytin Ferro; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sadie Ferro.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National MS Society, PO Box 91891, Washington, DC 20090-1891 or the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
