John R. Harrison, Jr.

John R. Harrison Jr., born on December 29, 1959, in Cape May, New Jersey, passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 64. A resident of New Bedford, Massachusetts, John was a talented chef who delighted many with his culinary skills at numerous restaurants throughout Massachusetts. He was also a proud Marine veteran.

John shared 48 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Janet R. Harrison. He was predeceased by his son, Jack Harrison, and is survived by his children, Greta Dame, Joshua Harrison, and Meagan McKeehan. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Katelyn, Paige, and Jacob LeCuyer; Chase, Chloe, and Marilyn McKeehan; and Noah Harrison.

In addition to his immediate family, John is survived by his siblings, Dawn Howell, Kelly Machado, and Paul Harrison. He was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony Harrison and Joseph Couture, as well as his parents, John R. Harrison Sr. and Carolyn (Duncan) Harrison.

John cherished spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed his moments on the computer. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
