SSgt. John F. Santos

John F Santos, age 25, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after succumbing to a Brain Aneurysm. He was born May 27, 1997 in New Bedford MA. He became a member of the US Air Force immediately after graduating GNBVT in 2015. John served overseas in Qatar in 2019 where he obtained his Veteran Status. He was recently promoted to Staff Sergeant in 2021 in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. He was incredibly passionate about his career in the military and gained brothers in arms along the way. John was also a Deputy Sheriff at Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department for 5 years and was awaiting the Massachusetts State Police Academy in 2023. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing and being the fun Uncle Johnny. John was a loyal and dedicated fiancé, son, brother and soon to be Father. He survived by his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Richard Perreira; his father and stepmother, Robert and Stephanie Santos; his brother Robert Santos III; his sisters Heather Tavares and Natasha Pacheco and their spouses; several nieces and nephews. John is survived by the love of his life, his Fiancé Hannah Dupont and their unborn son Hayden Santos and their two dogs, Teddy and Ellie.
