Joseph F. Bragantin, age 57, of New Bedford, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 in St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Susan Croteau-Bragantin to whom he shared 38 years together and 12 years of marriage.
Born in Fall River and raised in Swansea, he was the son of the late Frank and Helen (Rabbitt) Bragantin. After graduating from Joseph Case High School, he went onto a career as a Cable Technician with AFC Cable for many years.
A lover of music, Joseph enjoyed listening and collecting thousands of albums from old rock, to new rock and metal. He was an avid musician, playing the drums, guitar, electric guitar and bass.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Tabitha S. Croteau and her husband Denis Amaral, and Sarah Freitas of; one brother Frank Bragantin of Swansea; two sisters, Gertrude “Trudy” Pavao of Swansea, and Debra Paiva of Warren, RI; and one grandson, Derek Neives.
