

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Lorraine (Perry) Braley.
She was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School, class of 1981, earned her Associates Degree in Accounting, and worked in Customer Service for AT&T.
Julie was a beautiful woman, kind and generous. She was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, enjoyed drawing, music, dancing, the ocean, and walks along the beach. Spending time with family and friends were very important, especially with her nieces and nephews with whom she adored and loved them all as if they were her own. She was cherished by many and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving sister, Patricia Buzzell of New Bedford; three nephews and 1 niece, Randy McKay and his wife Paula of New Bedford, Kristie-Lynn McKay and her fiancé Joseph Zekus of Acushnet, Ryan McKay of New Bedford, and Tyler Buzzell and his wife Ariel of New Bedford; five great nieces and nephews, Arianna Vaughan of New Bedford, Adrien Buzzell of New Bedford, Parker Zekus of Acushnet, Graysen Buzzell of New Bedford, and Kameron Branco of New Bedford. She was the sister of the late Steven Braley and Lynn McKay, and the aunt of the late Jason Vaughan.
