Born in New Bedford, Kathleen was a graduate of New Bedford High School Class of 1977 and worked as a clerk in the assessor’s office at New Bedford City Hall.
Survivors include her children, Darcie Bernier of Somerville; Danielle Lord of Florida; Jonathan Bernier of New Bedford; 3 brothers, Stephen Belanger of North Carolina; Ron Belanger of Wareham; Ken Belanger of California; 2 sisters Jacqueline Alfredo of Maine; JoAnn DaRosa of Fairhaven; 2 grandchildren, Angelique Bernier, Avion Lord and several nieces and nephews.
