Kenneth L. Graveson

Kenneth L. Graveson, age 64, of Acushnet, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital unexpectedly. He was the husband of Virginia A. (Pleau) Graveson with whom he shared 32 years of marriage.

Born in Milford, a son of the late Edward L. and Cecilia P. (Daige) Graveson, he had resided in Acushnet since 1988 and previously lived in Bellingham. He was a graduate of Blackstone Valley Technical High School.

Mr. Graveson was the owner of Kenneth Graveson Plumbing and Heating in Acushnet since 1988. He was awarded the #1 Plumber of the Year.

He was known as a hardworking, loving and caring man who opened his heart and home to everyone. He adored his wife and cherished the time spent with his loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The World’s Greatest Dad and Pep will be missed by all.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Angela Fumo and her husband Tony of Acushnet and Tammy Graveson of New Bedford; a son, Kenneth L. “Bub” Graveson, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Acushnet; two step-sons, Earl Sutherland, III and Aaron Sutherland and his wife Shelly of Bellingham; four brothers, Edward “Butch” Graveson of TX, Harold Graveson of So. Grafton, Gary Graveson of Mendon and Dennis Graveson of Uxbridge; three sisters, Robin Martin and Beverly Graveson of Uxbridge and Becky Graveson of Blackstone; eleven grandchildren, Earl IV, Joshua, Cassandra, Desiree, Crawford, Tylor, Laura, Deven, Anthony, Cecelia "Cece" and Caitlyn; three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Kaylee and Mason (Pep’s Buddy); and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 4:00 p.m. in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
