Words cant begin to express my sadness due to this tragedy. Just as we were getting to know each other and get really close, I received the bad news. I will always remember how great your heart was for the Lord, and how much of an encouragement you were to me and my boys. Your smile was contagious, and you always had joy in your life! We had nothing but fun times, so what I will remember you by is for how you lived, and not how you passed. Even though I was aware of the struggles you faced, you did not let that interrupt your walk with God or your fellowship time with everyone, You will truly be missed as a brother and a friend. As I share this, I get comfort in knowing that you are now in the presence of Christ and displaying that great big smile of yours in his kingdom. You have left me with some fond memories of late nights in Volleyball at CFC and being part of the shoulder assembly club (those who have assisted with my constant shoulder dislocation), and constant laughter during basketball as well. You were also my egg toss partner during the memorial picnic! Even though we couldn't catch an egg from distance to save our lives, we had an amazing time cracking them!

I'm deeply saddened for your mother and your girlfriend and daughter. I know that baby girl meant the world to you... I pray your memory lives on through her and she comes to know the God which you served that she knows that she had a great father who was such an influential man with a great and big heart.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may his face shine upon you and grant the family peace and comfort during this time.

Let the Lord guide them as you have walked in those steps that God has ordained for you life.

Love you brother!

I've only known Kevin in the last few short years from Christian Fellowship Center Sunday night volleyball. What I can say about Kevin is he always had a smile on his face and always was ready and willing to help. He loved the Lord, regardless of the battle he was facing. Kevin wished the best for people and treated people non judgemental. Its been a pleasure knowing you. I pray for God to comfort those who loved you dearly, you will be missed.

I'm still in shock that you are gone brother. Kevin was one of the most selfless persons I ever came across in my 32 years of living. I remember being introduced to him at an AA meeting and seeing how bright his eyes were. He was filled with joy and vibrant. We automatically clicked because of our faith in Christ. He gave me his number and called me the following day because he genuinely wanted to help and knew I was struggling. From that day forward we became best buddies. His story, his faith was just admirable. In that time I was struggling immensely and Kevin took me under his wing and became a best friend and a brother to me. I got to know his heart and it was a beautiful one. He had a huge impact on my life and the life of others around him. I would pay attention to how compassionate he was to everyone and it was awesome witnessing it. His smile and personality was contagious. His love for God and faith was something I admired and wanted myself. I learned a lot from Kevin. You will be truly missed. I know that you were an amazing Dad and would have continued to be and amazing Dad. I have great comfort that you are with the Lord and there is no doubt about that. My condolences and prayers go out to everyone effected by Kevins' loss. LOVE YOU BRO!
