Born in St. Michael, Azores, a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria dos Anjos (Pacheco) Tavares. She was an Assembly Worker at Aerovox, an electrical manufacturing company until retirement.
She is survived by her loving son, John Tavares and his wife Christine of Acushnet; and a grandson Nicholas Tavares of Acushnet.
