Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Theodore “Tartar” and Ceda (Mandeville) Turgeon, she lived most of her life there before moving to Dartmouth in 1988. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Dartmouth.
Ms. Arsenault was a graduate of New Bedford High School and she was a homemaker. Lorraine most enjoyed spending time with her “whole” family.
She is survived by a daughter, Anne Arsenault and her partner Mike Lynch of Dartmouth; four sons, David Arsenault and his partner Barbara Zecher of Cambridge, Peter Arsenault and his wife Denise of Rochester, Marc Arsenault and his wife Mary Lynn of GA, and Thomas Arsenault and his wife Angie of GA; two sisters, Yvette LeBlanc and her husband Raoul LeBlanc and Claire Machado and her late husband Paul, all of New Bedford; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Memorial Mass will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church, 783 Dartmouth St., Dartmouth. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Greater New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home, 200 Hawthorn St., New Bedford, MA 02740, Attn: Carol A.
