Lorraine Braley

Born in Taunton, daughter of the late Antone and Julia (Bento) Perry, she has resided in New Bedford since 1954.

Mrs. Braley had previously worked at the Star Store in the deli department and also at Parkwood Hospital.

Lorraine enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and trips to the casinos. The most important aspect in her life was her family, which she enjoyed dearly. She was a strong woman and always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Buzzell and Julie Braley; two brothers, George Perry and Donald Suite; one sister, Irene Benoit; five grandchildren, Jason Vaughan, Tyler Buzzell, Randy, Ryan and Kristie-Lynn McKay; three great-grandchildren, Arianna Vaughan, Adrien Buzzell and Parker Zekus. She was the mother of the late Richard Braley, Susan Braley, Lynn McKay and Steven Braley. She was the sister of the late Robert Perry, Tony Perry Suite and John Perry.
