

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Lorraine was the beloved daughter of the late Henry Dance and Lorraine (Buchaner) Dance. She grew up with a love of learning that would shape the course of her life. Well educated and deeply dedicated to helping others grow, Lorraine spent many years working as a teacher, where she touched the lives of countless students with her patience, knowledge, and caring spirit.
Lorraine took pride in presenting herself with grace and dignity, always carrying herself with warmth and kindness. She had a lovable personality and a naturally pleasant nature that made those around her feel welcome and at ease. Her gentle spirit and positive outlook left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In her free time, Lorraine enjoyed crafting and expressing her creativity through her hands. Even in her later years, she remained active and engaged, often participating in activities at Sacred Heart Nursing Home. Her presence there brought joy to fellow residents and staff alike. Lorraine had a natural fondness for décor, paired with a wonderful sense of style. Her thoughtful attention to detail was beautifully reflected in the way she presented everything.
Lorraine is survived by her nephew, Kevin Gonzalez. She is predeceased by a brother and niece.
