Lorraine R. DeRosier

Lorraine R. (Coletti) DeRosier, age 81, of Acushnet, MA, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at The Oaks Nursing Home in New Bedford. She was the wife of the late Robert E. DeRosier, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, MA, daughter of the late Cesieio and Rose (Mailloux) Coletti, she later moved to Saugus where she resided for 40 years and spent the last 12 years in Acushnet. Lorraine was a Homemaker and worked at the Lynn Public Library for several years.

She is survived by: three sons Robert J. DeRosier of Acushnet, Dana T. DeRosier and his wife Donna of Saugus, and Thomas M. DeRosier and his wife Catherine of Marblehead; a daughter Kathy Lavoie of Saugus; eight grandchildren Andrew, Brandon, Heidi, Thomas, and Lillian DeRosier, Rachel Foti, William Moore and Rodney Lavoie; and great-grandchildren and a brother Joseph Coletti of Marblehead, MA. She was also the sister of the late Gloria Morgantino and Benjamin Coletti.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in the ROCK Funeral Home at 9am followed by her burial at Acushnet Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited.
