Lorraine was the daughter of the late Henry J. Goulet and Marie Bernard Goulet and the sister of the late Theresa Goulet, the late Alice Poirier, and the late Raymond Goulet. She was a 1948 graduate of St Anthony High School.
She was a crossword puzzle addict, an avid reader, and loved to write poetry. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing scrabble, cribbage and many card games with her children and grandchildren, to whom she rarely lost. She was a generous, keenly intelligent, spirited and straight-forward lady. You always knew where you stood with her. She will be sorely missed.
The service to celebrate her life will be private and scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Boulevard, New Bedford.
