Lorraine Violet Turgeon Vigeant

A lifelong resident of New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Odilon and Georgianna (Byron) Turgeon. Mrs Vigeant was a homemaker.

Surviving are her 3 sons; Robert N. Vigeant and his wife Sandra of Acushnet, Roland R. Vigeant and his wife Mary of Bartlett, NH, Ronald M. Vigeant and his wife Gail of London, KY, one daughter; Lorraine Garcia and her husband Gordon of Plymouth, MA,

11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Helen Chain, Ann Kocor, Emma Roy, Gertrude Perry and Henry Turgeon, Sr.

She was the grandmother of the late Roland Vigeant, Ross C. Vigeant, Robbie O. Vigeant and Randy Vigeant.

Her funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 10am at St. Joseph-St. Therese Church, 51 Duncan Street, New Bedford. Friends and relatives invited. Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours are private. Arrangements are by ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA.
