Louis H. Kelly passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Maria (Macedo) Kelly to whom he had been married for 42 years.
Born in Winterport, ME, a son of the late Louis and Rosa Mae (Holmer) Kelly, Louis lived in the New Bedford area most of his life.
Mr. Kelly worked at the Boston Housing Authority as a painter and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Louis is survived by his wife, Maria, 2 daughters, Rachel Chase and her husband Jeffrey of New Bedford, Deborah Krouzek of New Bedford; a sister, Patricia Melanson of Peabody; 2 brothers, Paul Kelly of Saugus ,Robert Kelly of Plymouth; 3 grandchildren, Michael Krouzek, Kellie Chase and Makayla Manchester. He was the brother of the late Foster Kelly.
