Mrs. Lucille Parker

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Alfred and Eugenie (Roy) Roy, she was a lifelong resident. She was a communicant of the former St. Joseph’s Church, New Bedford.

Mrs. Parker and her husband owned and operated Parker’s Fruit Stand and Garden Shop on the Avenue for 46 years. In her spare time, she loved spending time in Naples, FL.

She is survived by a daughter Charlotte A. Coutinho and her husband Donald and her two grandchildren, Marc and Dan Coutinho all of Acushnet.

Her visitation will be Friday, March 18, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Parish, Main St., Acushnet. Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery.
