Mae T. Perry

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Conrad and Annie (Ford) LaCroix, she was a lifelong city resident and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, New Bedford.

Mrs. Perry was a bank teller at the St. Anthony of New Bedford Federal Credit Union for many years before retiring in 1991. She enjoyed being with family and going on trips.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert C. Perry of New Bedford and Raymond W. Perry and his wife Lysle of Scotia, NY; two daughters, Ann T. Perry of Pompano Beach, FL and Donna M. Perry and her wife Sheila Williams of Attleboro; three sisters, Dorothy Hetu of Acushnet, Geraldine Gonneville of Mattapoisett, and Lorraine Berube of Pascoag, RI; grandchildren, Christine Hogan, Andrea Perry, Jen Sant, Julia Martinez, Alyssa Perry, Benson Perry and Lilly Perry; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Bernadette Menard, Joan Hammarquist, Conrad LaCroix, Jr. and Gerald LaCroix.

Her memorial mass will be Monday, May 2, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org.
