Manuel F. Amaral

Manuel F. Amaral, age 63, of New Bedford, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Cindy (Dellecese) Amaral with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. He was the son of the late Manuel and Alda (DeJesus) Amaral.

Manuel worked at Algar Construction for many years as a Concrete Carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, was a great provider with a giving heart and always put others first. Family and his grandchildren were everything. He loved being “Papa”.

In addition to his wife Cindy, he is survived by three daughters, Tina Jeremy and her husband Johnny of Warwick,RI., Rebecca Amaral and David Paige of Warwick, RI., Lisa Clark and her husband Franklin of Fairhaven, MA; four brothers, Jose Amaral and his wife Fatima, Antonio Rodrigues and his wife Liz, Armindo Amaral, Carlos Amaral; five sisters, Alzira Mota and her husband Carlos , Celina Gibau and her husband JJ, Isabel Raposo, Ester Arruda, Grace Amaral; eight grandchildren, Angelica Amaral, Teighan Jeremy, Jozia Charles, Zayden Paige, Patrick Clark, Catherin Clark, Benjamin Clark, Amber Clark; one great-grandchild, Jeremih Amaral and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 10:00am in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 5:00-8:00pm. Burial will be private.
