Maria C. Frias

Born in St Michael, Azores she resided in New Bedford most of her life.

She worked as a stitcher at Cliftex until her retirement.

Survivors include her children, Gualter M. Frias and his wife Maria G. Frias of New Bedford; Ana M. Sousa of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren, Debra Costa and her fiancé Robert Cabral of New Bedford; Michael Frias and his wife Helena of New Bedford; Michelle Raposo and her husband Joe of New Bedford; Jennifer Medeiros and her husband Phillip of New Bedford; 5 great grandchildren, Sabrina, Jarid, Mackenzie, Savannah, Payton and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8am at the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish, 136 Earle Street, New Bedford.
